Using Calcvers without an account

Every calculator works fully without signing in. In this mode the values you enter are never sent to us — the maths happens on your device.

To make the site useful across visits, your browser’s local storage keeps your recent calculations, favourites, saved scenarios and display preferences. This stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser data removes it, and you can delete individual items or all of it from My Calcvers.

If you create an account

An account exists to sync your data across devices. Creating one means we store the following on our servers:

• Account details. Your email address, name and profile picture, as supplied by the sign-in provider you chose. We never receive your password.
• Saved calculations. For each calculation you run while signed in, we store the calculator used, the input values, and a short summary of the result, so you can reopen it later. This includes the numbers you entered — which may be personal, for example a body weight or an income.
• Favourites, scenarios and preferences. Which calculators you favourited, any named scenarios you saved, and your unit and theme settings.

We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Only you can read it — access is restricted to your own account at both the application and database level.

If you would rather not have calculations stored, simply use Calcvers signed out. Nothing is lost: the same history and favourites still work locally.

Feedback and issue reports

If you rate a calculator or report a problem, we store your rating, any comment you wrote, and which calculator it concerned. These are anonymous unless you happen to be signed in, in which case they are linked to your account so we can follow up.

An issue report only includes the values you entered if you explicitly tick the box asking us to include them. It is never done silently.

Shared links

When you share a result, the link contains the input values needed to reproduce that calculation — that is what makes it work. Anyone with the link can see those values, so take the same care you would with any message. Sharing is always something you initiate; we never generate or publish links for you.

Analytics, cookies and email

• Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to see which calculators are used and which searches find nothing. We do not send your input values or results to any analytics provider.
• Cookies. Signing in sets a session cookie, which is essential for keeping you signed in. Non-essential cookies are only loaded after you accept them in the consent banner.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide solely to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your rights and choices

With an account, you can do all of this yourself from Settings:

• Export. Download everything we hold about you as a JSON file.
• Delete individual items. Remove any saved calculation, favourite or scenario.
• Delete your account. Permanently erases your profile, history, favourites and scenarios. This is immediate and cannot be undone.

You can also block cookies in your browser settings and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message. Without an account there is nothing stored on our side to delete — clearing your browser data is enough.

Retention

Account data is kept until you delete it or close your account. Saved calculation history is capped at a recent window, so older entries fall off automatically. Feedback and issue reports are kept while they are useful for fixing the calculator in question.
